HackCamp Web CTF

Kashish vibe-coded the HackCamp portal over a weekend and asked you to pen-test it before HackCamp opens. Break it one feature at a time, from guest all the way up to organizer. Each break hands you a flag like hc26{word_…}. Paste it into the box at the bottom of the page to turn a sheep gold and open the next step. Flags only work for the person who earned them, and the last step gives you the code that goes in the portal.

Everything in your browser is yours to read and change, and the developer tools are how you do it (right-click anywhere and pick Inspect).

01  Sign-up

Kashish isn't ready for sign-ups yet, so instead of turning the form off they put a "coming soon" panel over it.

Goal: sign up for the beta.

• Right-click the "Sign-ups open soon" panel and pick Inspect. Elements opens on the thing covering the form.
• Elements lets you change the page. Get that panel out of the way, by deleting it or switching off its CSS.
• Then sign up like normal.
